ReMix(2016 electronic solo improvisation)

Accordionist and Folkwang Professor Mie Miki organized a series of concerts of Folkwang teachers and students at the Folkwang Museum in Essen. She asked me, if I could contribute something, as she wanted to have some electronic music there as well. I’m not really a performer, but thought, it would be a little cheap to just play some fixed media pieces. So I wrote a maxpatch that was able to granularize and mix three of my former fixed media pieces, controlled by me in realtime via a small MIDI controller. I thus was able to do a more or less improvised solo performance of about 30 minutes in the Folkwang Museum. This patch eventually became the base of the software I used in the improvisation project “Blickwechsel“
